help identify this Ti frame
I'm having trouble identifying this bike, I got it from a friend he thinks its a Seven or Litespeed, I googled, but haven't seen one like this from either of those brands. The head badge says New Belgium Brewing, I know that's fat tire and I guess it was just stuck there by someone along the way along with bunch of other random stickers
thanks for your help. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...e/P5050014.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...e/P5050013.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...e/P5050012.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...e/P5050011.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...e/P5050010.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...e/P5050009.jpg |
looks like an ibis (i say this because of the word "mojo" on it, and ibis made ti bikes there for a while)
|
Looks like a Litespeed manufactured frame built for another small brand. The center pull canti housing stop on the wishbone seatstay dates it to 1993-1995.

i contacted Litespeed and they said it wants theirs, they suggested Ibis or Fat Chance. looks like a Fat Chance from the the other Ive seen at a quick google glance.

Not an Ibis or Fat Chance with those dropouts.
The answer given to you by Litespeed/ABC doesn't suprise me. They know almost nothing about the products produced before the company changed hands. |
Post some photos of it here, they're pretty good with ID's on old MTB's.
Looks very similar to this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...j/IMG_2590.jpg Some photos of a later model Raleigh that doesn't have the cantilever brake cable housing stop on the seat stay: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/vie....php?p=1027149 |
I think Cobba found it.
Here's a review of the Tomac version. The article mentions it was made by Litespeed. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a10...92test_1m1.jpg |
