Bike Repair Stand
I am currently looking to get a bike repair stand. I have been looking at a lot of different online retailers to try and find a good deal. Anyone have any good experience with a stand that is not Park Tool? I already know that Park tool is one of the leading companies when it comes to tools and equipment, so they are pretty much a good benchmark. I am looking for a seat post stand variety, any maybe any other good deals on tools you guys may know of.

I have a Performance model (G3 I think) that is very sturdy and cheaper than the Park Tool stands. It was about $150.00 a few years ago. If you're only going to use it infrequently, Aldi, the grocery store, sells a stand for about $30.00 that works well. Not shop or enthusiast quality but works for most recreational users.

You can find the same stand on amazon too, loads of different brands trying to sell exactly the same stand some have blue clamps, others red, but they're all basically the same stand. Max weight is between 30 and 40kg.
I got one with the red clamps and it has been fantastic. Just put a thin towel round the grip jaws if you're worried about frame damage.
