The Pony Express-are any sections made into XC Mountain Bike Trails?

I did ask this in Regional posts and no answers, so I am posting here just to see.

I have always like the "Old West" heroes and the Pony Express riders are up there. I read some good material about their riding across Nevada (The Loneliest Highway in America, HWY 50) I learned that many of those miles are now paved and have 65 MPH speed limits. NOT MY KIND OF RIDING.

There are some areas that travel from ruins to ruins and involve Hot Springs, Cold Springs and other water sources. The Route travels from Sacramento to St, Charles, MO. I am hoping to do Mountain Springs to Robert's Creek this August. About 80 miles of dirt. Not a lot of technical (MY KIND OF RIDING)

Does any one know of other sections in WY, or UT?
