i was wondering what the difference between these parts on the bikes /Users/sfawcett/Desktop/Image001.tif
/Users/sfawcett/Desktop/Image002.tif

You'll need to upload the images off your desktop as attachments before we can see them. Choose the 'Go Advanced' tab and look for the little paper clip icon.

You can go to the KTM site and see the differences between the parts.

Saint vs SLX
Avid Code vs Avid Elixir
Boxxer 200 World Cup vs Boxxer 200 Race
Fox DHX RC 4 vs Fox Vanilla R
etc, etc.

Unless you find the white one on a super sale, probably well below MSRP, and there's a good resale market for takeoff parts where you live and you have the time to resell said parts, there's likely no way you'll save money by buying it and upgrading all the parts up to the levels of the dark gray one.
