Single speed, front suspension only bikes
Do they exist? or would i have to build it myself, i want a decently durable single speed bike with front suspension, for a reasonable price, nothing over $400

$500 and you have to partially assemble yourself and you have to want a 29er in a 15" frame...

At the $400 price point I would go rigid fork. Getting a good suspension fork is not going to happen in that price range. The other thing to consider is a 29er like recommended above. There are many more single speed options available in 29er unless you want to build yourself. If you don't mind doing some work you could check craigslist for an older steel frame MTB and convert to single speed.
