Do P2 and P3 have different frames? The description is different, meaning attributes such as "p2 has Aggro MTB design frame with Centerfold TT and p3 "Freeride HT/Dirt Jumping/Street MTB frame design with Centerfold TT". However both are made from same material, "A1 Premium Aluminum"

Same geometry, same frame.

The 'builds' of the bike are different.

Ahh possible. I have not bothered to look at 2005. p1 and p2 were diff in 2004 though. Frame was the same build was different.

For '05 there's a Chromoly option for the P1 but not the others. It looks interesting.

That's what I assumed frame wise. I knew that built was different. Site selling a separate p3 frame made me think its different. Anyways, is the frame worth it? I was thinking of getting a p2 with 2.3 tires (it comes with 2.1) tires and 8" in front if possible (comes with 6"). LBS promised a deal

P.S. I'm 5'8", i need short, right?

Yes you would need a short. How much are they selling the frame for?

not the frame, I want to get the whole bike. They promised a $600 for P2 2004 model. I didn't have time to compare the components from 2004 and 05 yet.
