I'm also the one sitting on the sidelines for a month with an elbow injury.

Bummer man. Now you get to envison how the bike will ride.

Come january will be my time for parts
1 - long chainstay upgrade for bighit to 7.5in travel
2 - pushed shock
3 - thomson seatpost for djer
4 - surly SS wheel for djer
5 - send z1 in for repair
6 - buy new wheelset (xc) for roast
7 - new set of brakes

Oh the money will be drained at that point :)...besides don't you get snow where you live :)
