Drops

Me and my friend have an on going fight over drops and which ones are best, and coolest. my side is that a drop around 10-15 with a gap to a good landing (fairly steep) is better that a drop around 5 ft taller strait down to hardly any landing, (which is his side). If you want to see how his 15 to almost flat went check out our site . IT doest show it but he bent the race face north shore dh cranks that were on it. What are your favorite kinds of drops?

I like to ride...if drops aren't on the trail then I don't hit them. As my old title used to say "if there isn't flow, why bother"...but I tend to prefer to tranny...keeps speed, more flowy and easier on the bike and body.

15 to flat. He should try and publish that, I think that breaks the highest the flat I have heard of....I don't think many people even bother dropping to flat anymore.

Ahh...I was about to say...thats not 15 ft...looks maybe 10 with the kid there...then he landed way to far down the tranny haha. Nice sized drop, wish I was still young enough to care about dropping to flat, but then again I still wouldn't, drops to tranny are much mroe fun on a trail.

Haha you're argument is funny. Sounds like some kids i saw the other day trying to work out who's cut on their knees was worse- and asking people's opinions

You can't really compare them but i prefer a gap and drop with a landing. I hate flat land drops- they're so harsh they're pointless. Like Mael said its about flow.

I've got a movie on my computer where the guy does like a 20 foot flat land drop. And lands it. But yeah, i prefer a tranny.
