I love it when announcers get all excited and into an awesome performance. Makes it even more exciting. And the guy's sense of humor makes it all the better.

And not even a minute into it we get some awesome commentary - "Well, dude, what's he doing? He's not racing. He's going down about the same sort of speed I did on Thursday. MRI? He's going slow enough for an MRI scan somewhere en route!"

I've never watched any televised MTB races, but these announcers are amazing! I'd watch this over soccer any day! Does anyone know what kind of crazy TV package I'd have to get to see televised MTBing? I'd honestly be interested if it's possible.

Just like Danny Mac, words don't do it justice.

EuroSport covers all the World Cup races but they're not on cable or dish in my market. Compared to Freecaster, those Eurosport commentators will put you to sleep though.

Another one who does not get it. Anybody who's followed Freecaster WC coverage can't get enough of Warner's froth-at-the-mouth style of color :lol:. The guy is a legend.

That Canadian from pinkbike was pretty funny too.

On the other hand, although I was excited at first to hear him join in the fun, Hairball did not make for good voice-over.

Those announcers were almost the best part. I love it when they get all pumped. I watched it again just to hear them report the ride.
