Please help me ID this Ti MTB
I picked up this Ti MTB off of CL a couple of years ago and love it. However, I have not been able to identify the manufacturer / year. Except for the bars and seat post, it is as I got it.
As I looked through the Vintage Ti MTB threads elsewhere, I was able to identify several distinguishing characteristics on this frame. 1) The three cable guides on the top of the top tubes. I only saw this on Moots and Kona examples. 2) Curved chain stays. 3) Bullet ends on the seat and chain stays. I have only seen this on Litespeeds and Kona. Oh, and the SS # is SODT00149. Thanks http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...IMG_0030-4.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...IMG_0031-4.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...IMG_0032-2.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...e/IMG_0033.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...IMG_0034-3.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...IMG_0035-1.jpg |
Litespeed manufactured it, maybe for another brand.

Looking through the old catalogs, it seems that Litespeed always placed cable guides on the side or bottom of the TT. |
I don't think it's a Litespeed branded frame, but based on the dropouts, bullet stay caps and housing stops they certainly made it.

OK, that helps. Thanks
