2002 Giant XTC / SE2 - Value?

Long time reader, first time poster. I have the opportunity to purchase this bike:

"Like new !!! 19" frame, Mavic "Ride" wheels, Race Face crank, Crowbar bars, Rock Shox "Duke" forks. Owned by an old guy who thought he wanted a mountain bike."

I already have an older Cannondale Jekyll 700, so I would throw a set of Big Apple tires on this thing and use it for casual riding where the full suspension isn't required. My question is what's this thing worth? Looks like a cherry bike, and I haven't ready anything bad about the Giant XTC bikes.

Your input is appreciated.

That's what I was thinking. The seller is stuck on $400. It's a really clean looking bike, but there are a couple Cannondale Bad Boys floating around just above the $400 mark.

Thanks for the reply!
