Broke in my new Scott Scale 29er Elite today!

What a blast! Test rode several 26ers from Giant and Specialized. Really liked the Giant XTC 1 & 2 (test rode a 2 for a weekend). Tested a Cannondale Alloy Lefty 3 and did not care for that. Well I got a great team discount and couldn't pass the savings up! Bought without seeing one in person or riding which made me really nervous. Oh well now I can just ride it and enjoy.

So, how'd you like it compared to the Giant XTC that you really liked?

After riding today, couldn't remember what the Giant felt like!
Not sure what toe overlap is, time to use the search option

Looks like a lotta space from the pedals to the front tire. Welcome to the Scott club. I have a 26er Spark, love it. Congrats on a great looking ride.

That good then. Sounds like you got a good deal. Enjoy it! I believe toe overlap is when your toes hit the front tire in certain situations due to the larger 29" tires and long crank.
