Trek 4300

Hey all,

Just picked up a 2010 trek 4300. It has a shimano M311 crank, and has already torn up my pants. I do a lot of commuting through snow to work and class up here in Wisconsin, so I want to be able to use this bike for that.

Does this crank accept a chain guard at all? Or what are some suggestions to keep my pants from catching and being eaten up. I prefer to dress in jeans and stuff to go to class, and my work pants for work, not really a place to change at the places.

Thanks for any advice and input!

Peg and tuck your pant leg into the top of your socks and/or use a rubber band -- until you can get one of those ankle band things.

dude, why you always posting pics of yourself?

3speeds option is my vote, you also get a moving reflector for night commutes.
