2012 Surly Karate Monkey fork

https://surlybikes.com/parts/karate_monkey_fork

or

2012 Vassago Odis fork

Also - can the Vassago fork be used with the Karate Monkey frame?

I've heard from riding buddies that the Odis is a touch less harsh than the KM.
I've only ridden the KM fork & can attest that it has NO give....even with my 230#+ of mAss.

-Yes, forks are interchangeable.

Are you referring to the 2012 KM fork, which has changed from previous forks. I have heard it is the same as the Salsa fork, not confirmed

Regardless of how close the 2012 KM fork is I still think the Salsa Cromoto forks are the best for the money, especially with the introduction now of the Fargo v2 which will give you so many options ala anything cages/bottle cage mounts/racks/fenders.

If it was up to those two I would go with the ODIS, I hear this is a pretty good fork and it's lighter. I will say watch Vassago with a close eye I have heard the horror stores of warranty replacements and never hearing back after first email. I am fortunate enough that nothing has happened to my Fisticuff.
