Anyone remember the Diamondback Vertex?

Loved these frames when they were new (I guess back around 95', 96'?) and forgot about them until one day recently. I was chatting with a friend of mine about old bikes we used to like and suddenly remembered the Vertex.

Get this...

The very next day I went for a ride and ran into a guy from the LBS on the trail - who just so happened to be riding a polished aluminum Diamondback Vertex. Told him about the conversation from the previous day and how much I liked the frame, and wouldn't you know it, he says, "This one's actually too big for me. Want it?"

Two days and $50 later, the frame was mine.

Think I just got a Vertex!

Hey, Cliver, just got an awesome Diamondback at a yard sale for yes, $50! I've been trying to ID it, it has no decals, and I think it's a Vertex. Came across your post on the web. Check it out. What do you think? Am I right?
