Heels won, wolfpack lost.
Kansas has a rare opportunity. They can knock out both Carolina ACC teams back to back! YESSS!!!!!

So Kansas is now the Great Carolina Killer!
Taking down both State and UNC Chapel Hill.
Big Time statement.

On a side note, WWU clinched the Div II championship. Not bad for a school that's known more for its outdoor recreation opportunities than for BB .

So Kansas beat the 5th best team in the ACC (State) and UNC who lost both their best defender (Strickland) and their most indispensable player (Marshall) to injury. The Gheyhawks played well, and those are good wins, but hardly "Big Time" statements.

I find it hilarious that a Quebecer is ridiculing people about their source of regional pride.

There's some english idiom about living in glass houses... it'll come to me eventually.

There's also another idiom about making assumptions especially regarding what sports I follow just because of where I live.

I know plenty of people that get butt hurt if their team doesn't make the playoffs but they don't come close to those that get butt hurt by an internet comment that wasn't directed at them.

Relax, this is the Internet. Don't take things so seriously.

I didn't say anything about the sports you follow. I said something about mocking someone for their regional pride. I found it especially surprising because your listed location is a place famously brimming with regional pride. That's all there is to it.

Again, you make an assumption that just because I live in a place that I also share the same level of pride in a ball and/or stick sport's achievements.

I will admit that the only hockey I watch is Olympic hockey.
