Ugh. I used to love Offspring back in my youth. Then I saw 'em at First Ave with L7 opening. Well, never has a headliner been so destroyed by the opening band. L7 brought skill, noise, and style. Offspring just brought some crappy hooks and a desperation to be cool. Ever since that day whenever I hear an Offspring song I just have to cringe.

I put the 'Pod on shuffle, so I hear punk, techno, 80's, classical, video game/movie tunes (I loooove instrumental stuff!), and more. Live, Bad Religion, Scarlatti, ALL, Slayer, Jefferson Starship, Deviates, Mozart, Journey, Prodigy, and so on.

Thanks to this thread, though, I rode this last time without music. Birds chirping, bike & wheel sounds, plants rustling, I forgot how nice the natural sounds could be.

Depends. I listen to the sound of outdoors when riding on trails. I only use music on the road riding when It's becoming boring. No music on the trails because it's easier to hear what your bike is doing and lets face it, most people go to the trails to get away from their 9-5. If anything is getting loose then it's best to hear about it before it goes pang and ruins your ride as you can't feel all defects.

Although I do put some music on when driving to the trail or before a ride.

Mostly whatever I have in the car. Here are some that come into my mind while riding. The kind of list is pretty infinite and pointless though. Listen to what you like.

Cee lo green - F*ck U
Pendulum - Slam (this one comes in my mind when riding through trees)
Pendulum - Island Pt1(dawn)
Basement Jaxx - Good Luck
Paul Oakenfold - Ready Steady Go
Two Steps From Hell - Dragon Rider
Trance - Secret Melody
Tenacious D - Kickapoo
Bloodhound Gang - Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo
Placebo - Slave to the wage
Pixies - Monkey gone to heaven
Manic Street Preachers - I am just a patsy (everyone gets scared)
Feeder - Just a day
Bowling For Soup - Emily
Kid Rock - Bawitdaba
Smashing Pumpkins - 1979
Above and beyond - Oceanic
Skrillex - First of the year
Armin Van Buuren - The Sound Of Goodbye

Tunes make going uphill against gusty wind all the more tolerable, that's for sure! What little I could hear over the wind, that is.

That's got to be the most random list I've ever seen. What's on your other playlists? Cannibal Corpse and Britney Spears?

I do like me some Arch Enemy though...

I don't listen to Britney Spears. Your the one you listens to Britney Spears. Your an a**hole.
Wow turn a simple thread for getting music into "name calling" really shows what kind of person you are.

I can *almost* decipher what that's trying to say...

Actually, in case you couldn't tell from the smilie, I was just laughing about the diversity on that list. My playlist has fluff on it, I'm not embarrassed. I don't think I have any Britney, but I had Katy Perry make an appearance between Slayer and In Flames today, so whatever dude, I won't judge your guilty pleasure music that you so adamantly deny listening to.

Good move. Call the moderater an a-hole.

P.S. Your musical taste sucks. Especially the garbage that you underlined.
