Are These Walmart components or Bike Shop?

Howdy, my friend asked me if this bike was any good. I am not an expert on componentry other than XT is good enough for anybody.

Diamondback is a 'second-tier' bike shop brand - - what a lot of shops stock to give a lower price point than their main brands. Some big-box sporting goods stores carry some DBs too, such as Sports Authority. Looks like a general entry-level build; would provide adequate service.
