Tubeless - Only for presta valves?
So I take my mountain bike into my LBS today to have them convert it to tubeless, but they say they can't do it because the valve holes in my rims are sized for schrader valves. Am I really out of luck unless I buy new rims? I absolutely cannot go on getting flats from thorns at the extraordinary rate I'm getting them right now.

you can make a schraeder valve stem tubeless if it's a compatible rim and you use the right valve stem. find a bike shop that knows what they are doing.
