Help finding information on a bike!

Hey guys,

So I have been reading around the forums for awhile a it's time for my first post! I am thinking about buying a new bike and was hoping someone here might know some information on it. Basically I am looking for anything on this bike. It is a hummer bike, but it is not one of the folding ones. From what I know it is from around 2000-2002 time. There is not really much information on it other then it saying "6.5 AL full suspension" on the frame. It has, what I think is a serial number, on the front where the tree is. It was 9J0580. The frame has a little surface rust but nothing that I can't get off with a little work.

Basically i am going to buy this from a friend and we don't know what its worth since not matter what we search we can't find anything on it. The closest I found was the H20 hummer kids bike. Everything else I find is a folding one. So anyone know if this is a good bike, frame, and what it might be worth? I don't want to pay to much but also I don't want to cheap him out if the bike is actually worth more.

Thanks everyone! :)

I'd take a pass on it unless it's free.

I assume you just want it for a commuter or kickaround bike. Bike doesn't aapear tot be in great shape or well maintained. I would think $50 is generous... asn't worth much when new...

BTW rubbing off rust is not a good thing... you also destroy the strength of the metal...

What's your friend asking?

Its probably a nice novelty bike. But the pricing as described above is fair. KUDOs to you for not wanting to cheat a friend.
