OK Guys, been lurking, first post..... I just got a 2004 Haro X1 for $456 out the door. I would not have gotten it except that the deal was too damn good..... I think ...did I do good? They had the Jamis Dakar for $499 and the Haro XLS R3 for cheap. They had hardtails too like the Jamis Durango Sport SX for like 30% off of $469 and the Haro Escape 8.1 for 30% off.... well all '04s were 30% off.

It was a hard decision on what to get and I am still thinking about a hardtail instead. I can take the X1 back if I want. So I am open to feedback.

Thanks, Mark

edit--i forgot they have a Tassajara for $377 out the door

Should have gone with the Durango SX, but the one you select will be ok. And the bike does not exist until there are photos.

Perhaps he thought we needed a picture to connect the name to a bike?

I'm saving up for a Jamis Durango Sport SX, Chenango Point Cycles recommended it, and I agree.
Sounds like you have some good cycles available. Where is your LBS?

I ended up not getting a bike from Copelands, even tho the deals were good the saleskids were smart ass*es and couldn't have gave a darn about customer service.

I went to a LBS and got a '04 Rockhopper Comp for $590. not as good of a discount but the shop does care and I do not mind buying from a private owned local dealer.
