Actually, that's what I've been doing since last Friday night.

I was building and dirt jumping all weekend. That's as dirty as I could get it with the 70 degree temps here in NC.

j/k it's great... puts to shame my small and far lesser Jamis. You really had best show us some picks of that thing with like 20ibs of mud on it

Okay, ride report:

First, please be advised that my other bike is an 04 Enduro Pro with 03 Z1 FR QR20's and that the only other FS bike of note I've ridden recently is a Banshee Chapparal with an 04 Z1 FR SL, so kindly examine my comments with that in mind.

I dirtjumped this bike all weekend at the city sponsored "terrain park" our local mtb group is building - kind of like a mountain-x course w/ doubles, big tables, BIG berms. Travel feels bottomless, even with a spring that's too soft for my weight - I compensated somewhat with air pressure adjustments, but that's a quick and dirty fix. The 66R's/Syncros stem/31.8mm bars are incredibly stiff, as is the rest of the chassis.

I did the dj'ing with the shock linkage in the slack (68.5 HA) setting, and with that setup, this is a long, stable bike. I can't wait to get to Pisgah and Snowshoe to really let it rip. In the meantime, I've swapped to the 69.5, high BB setting, and it makes it feel like a completely different bike - trail worthy and a capable climber for it's girth. This is good, because I think I will still be able to get away with a 38T single up front for the trails around here. (I haven't weighed it yet, but I estimate around 40 lb).

The frame unlike anything I've ever seen before...lots of forged chunks like the chainstay yoke / BB:

And there's some dirt on there for some of you guys, if it makes you happy.

Obviously they built that bad boy to take a beating. The way a bike of that sort SHOULD be built!

Wicked Sick! Somehow the paint seems to match the geometry...if that makes any sense.
