1999 Giant Upland weight
Does anybody know where can I find the exact weight for a 1999 19,5'' Giant Upland bike?
Unfortunately Giant itself doesn't have an email address, and local dealers don't event bother answering, considering the age of the bike.
I wonder if somebody has one and can tell me its weight...
Thanks in advance.

Why do you need the EXACT weight of a thirteen year old bike you don't have access to? I would bet that it weighs 13-14 kilograms, 29-31 pounds or 2-2.15 stone, depending on where you live. I would feel comfortable using this on gravel paths and nothing more agressive. I also wouldn't pay very much for it.

Thanks for the answer, 13-14kg seems reasonable looking at its specs and size, unfortunately I can't find anything on Google (at least, nothing concerning weight, too).

Hold onto the bike, stand on some scales and take note of the weight.
Stand on the scales without the bike and take note of the weight.
Subtract the non bike weight from the with bike weight and you'll know how much the bike weighs.

Of course, but unfortunately I don't physically have that bike here with me, that's why all I can do is relying on you folks on bikeforums.
Thanks, though.
