Looked a bit at your Flicker photos, gorgeous scenery and very nice photography! Looks like some of the tracks actually have some gnarly terrain. The landscape and the names like Dowbiggin are like Hobbitland.

I see that the South Lakes area includes some National Park lands. Tell us us more, please!

The area the South Lakes Group cycle in Kenhills is in the Northern part of North West England, there are two National Parts in the area these being the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Lake District National Park, there also two areas of outstanding nature beauty these being the Arnside and Silverdale and the Forest of Bowland. So plenty of interesting off-road cycle and mountain biking routes to do around the area.
