My story for the day.

Well, today I decided to go downtown and hang out at the shop for a while, ride around town, and then go home. While I was riding around town, I almost fell in front of these three punks, which laughed at me but I just ignored them. I rode around a little more, and then decided to ride home on the trail. While I was on the trail I decided to stop under the Freeway, where there is a hill of dirt and a jump to play on.

So I was doing that and then those three kids show up. They were all like "Wow he special because he can ride a bike" and stupid crap like that. Well I start biking towards the kid that talked the most **** and asked him what he just said and to tell it to my face. They just walked off, so again, I ignored them and biked on that hill a little more. I really wanted to pound those kids to the ground, but I was way outnumbered, and would have been beat for sure. Well after a little bit, they started walking back to me so I grabbed my stuff, and rode off past them where they couldnt reach me. Then as I passes the kid he goes "yea get your ****** ass ***in outta here ya gayass loser". and crap like that. Everyone hates bikers

You should come here in Montreal/Canada

We have a lot of hill in the Laurentians where in the winter we do skiing/snowboarding and in the summer we can go for biking We also have a lot of cycling roads.

I never saw anyone pissing bikers off.

How old were they?

Dirtbike 01-30-05 05:16 AM

probably like 13

phantomcow2 01-30-05 07:13 AM

its the age, middle schoolish. They get over it and realize how dumb they are in a few years.

I went there. Bikes = Awesome in montreal. I saw like 5 s-works being left out with a cable lock, 8 hours later, nobody has even touched them. Hell, they leave their quick releases on and everything.

Hahaha i remember reading a thread a while back about this. It was so interesting because I never knew so many riders actually carry one.

We Canadians can never imagine such a thing

Maelstrom 01-30-05 02:09 PM

Tell me about it. I could never live somewhere I figured I would need a gun.

PWRDbyTRD 01-30-05 02:32 PM

I think it's a great benefit to be able to carry a firearm with you freely, especially since your country was founded by them.

9mm...

Not going to debate guns here or really anywhere. I never said we weren't allowed, just glad most here don't feel the need. Theres a philosophical difference between those two statements.

snakehunter 01-30-05 03:39 PM

I leave my guns at home, handgrenades is where its at..........whatd you say b@tch........BOOOOOM! Hells yeah. its great, they fit in your water bottle holder, AND no one expectsa rider to pack a nade = shock value.

Would you really take a grenade with you riding??? I'd be worried about the pin falling out

snoopz666 01-30-05 06:48 PM

ya bringing a grenade with you isnt the greatest idea. unless you put a little piece of duct tape on the pin, then you would be fine.
*adds to list of uses for duct tape*

DjRider04 01-30-05 06:52 PM

9 = 9mm....glock 9, whatever
yehhh ya know.

Dirtbike 01-30-05 09:09 PM

grenade in water bottle-

stack = BOOM

snakehunter 01-30-05 10:17 PM

I actually have nade loops on my camelback, so no worries. AND I store gasoline in my CB so that I can destroy any remnants after the deed is done. If anyone needs any ingenious ideas, or needs any 'supplies' hollar at your boy ;)

I don't even think they produce a Glock 9....probably referring to a 9mm Luger Glock...like a 17 or 19.

Stretch 01-31-05 02:26 AM

Glock 17, 18, 19, 26, 34: They're all 9mm.

LMAO! Guns ot riding!? We arent even allowed guns in the UK, i suppose its a good thing in a way, but it encourages young people to use guns because they're illegal, not something i would choose to carry around with me, and to be honest i can beleive its the 'norm' in America... Thats crazy..

aidan.ie 01-31-05 05:30 AM

I have to agree with Cornish Rdr Uk on this one, i'm from Ireland and we don't carry guns here and i think it is depressing that you feel the need to have a gun with you on a ride. the chances of you getting shot increase exponentially when you carry a firearm (strange that...) btw i get s**t nearly every time i go out riding cause i am usually geared up in lycra's, it's usually 13-14 year olds and i console myself (not that it bothers me that much) with the fact that the most excitement those *******s are likely to get anytime soon is sitting in front of their ps2's.

Cornish_Rdr_UK 01-31-05 06:06 AM

Yes, we occasionally get people that are mouthy like that, usually they only do it because they're jeaslous of your bike though, just ignore them usually, or if they really get on my nerves, A quick V usually does the job...
