Recs for platform pedals for Surly Necro Pug?

Placed an order today for my first fat bike, a 2012 Surly Necromancer Pug.
I read it comes without pedals, I prefer platforms.
On my road & fixed, I have clips & straps(Shimano 600 track pedals) but I doubt these would be a good fit with winter riding gear & messing around trail shoes.

Good recs for quality platforms that do well year 'round?
Thanks!

I have these VP Components pedals on my Mukluk. They have a good sized platform for my size 11.5 feet and work great riding in sandals in the summer and Sorels in the winter.

^^ I think these posters are all thinking of the Moonlander with their recommendations; Necromancer Pug requires a totally different kind of platform.

I ended up going with Tioga Spyder D platforms with removable studs. 3 weeks into the new Pugs and I love them to bits! Although they are doing a good job of eating into the soles of my Chucks. No slippage but perhaps natural rubber soled shoes are not the best bet with the metal studs. My usual winter shoes are Solomon trail running shoes and I know they will hold up better, so I just need to find a better summertime shoe that the pedals won't destroy.

You lost me on this one. Why would a Necromancer take a different pedal platform than a Moonlander?

Haha, I was being facetious. Title of the thread was "Recs for platform pedals for Surly Necro Pug?" so I thinks to myself "why do we need to know the specific bike to make a recommendation? Is there something unique that sets it apart?" Hence my wiseass answer.
