Loose Front Wheel?

I recently bought a Diamondback Response from Dick's. I noticed that the front wheel seems to be slightly loose. The front brake was making noise, so I tightened the wheel lock (it's removable) and the noise went away, but came back within seconds. Is this a problem? If so, how can I fix it?

50 views and no responses....?..

Your first mistake was buying a bike from dicks. its ok.

your front hub might be a bit loose, you can tighten it with cone wrenches. that or you dont know how to use a quick release skewer.

As escarpment said,
Are you tightening the quick release properly?

If you are, it sounds like the hub cones aren't adjusted properly. You might want to check

Or just take the bike back and ask them to check it out.
