Help identifying a Fox fork? (and yes, I've already talked to Fox :) )

I've been given a bike with a very old Fox fork on it, though I'm not sure what the fork is. The bike is some sort of second-or-third-hand hodgepodge of parts, I don't know the history. The serial number on the fork is damaged (or corroded, or something) just enough that I can't read it clearly; I've tried to relay it to Fox, but between the obvious age of the fork and the iffy number, they don't think they can identify it.

The stickers claim it's a TALAS RLC, but the adjustments certainly don't look like RLC + travel adjustment. The left knob has about a 1/8 turn in it, the right has many turns (I don't think I've gotten it to bottom or top out at all). I haven't taken the knobs off to see what's underneath. I don't think I've seen a Fox fork with two red knobs-I'm guessing the left side is bogus in some way. I don't see any access to a schraeder valve- I'm guessing this is a spring fork. check the pictures and let me know what you think. I can take more close-ups if needed. Thanks!

Get me a better shot of the arch on the fork, specifically non drive side, I see something that looks like a crack.

Edit: nevermind, just a peice of tape.

Something's not right there...

Looks like a Frankenfork of sorts. The crown is painted black and the lowers are grey, right?

Up top, it looks like a Fox crown. Definitely not a RLC TALAS model. It's also a coil-sprung fork, given the 2mm screws that hold the knobs on. Likely a rebound only damper.

Does the rider's right(damper side) knob effect the rebound damping on the fork?

I'll look again tomorrow, but I believe the lowers and crown are the same grey. I haven't been able to determine if the top cap adjustments on either side have any effect at all, however, I was only feeling for compression, I wasn't paying much attention to rebound. Again, I'll check tomorrow.

You might be on to something. It looks very similar, with the exception of the current control knobs. This is going to be my friend, maybe: https://www.enduroforkseals.com/id28.html
