Major Mods needed?

Hey this might be a silly question, or even turn out to be impossible to answer, but i was wondering how the first picture below turned into the second picture. They are the same bike, but I like the second one better.

Angle of the picture. The front end is closer to the lense, making it larger then the rear end.

Oh..forgot to mention...the fork on the second picture looks like it has more travel. This could be another factor.

I say it's a smaller frame as well as the longer travel fork. Do we win anything for this ?

On the bottom pic the top of the rear triangle looks almost parallel with the top tube. It must be smaller frame.

Dirtgrinder's right, the top frame looks like an MTB, the second one is either a woman's MTB or a trial specific bike - look at the angle formed between the seatstays and top tube, they're totally different. I'd say the forks were both similar long travel ones. Also, and I might be wrong, might'nt the top one have 24" wheels as well ?
