Hi my name is Chris, signed up because i need help identifying this bike, cant find a thing online about it, found craigslist posts about it, with asking prices of $200+. Thanks in advance.

Yes that looks extremely old/cheap. LOL I ran a Bell saddle like that for a bit on my KHS bike... until I saw the light.

Pass on the sidewinder.
Try this Specialized. Adjusta-stem and sproing post are kinda a bummer for actual MTB riding, but nice touches for beginner commuter. It's a $450 bike vs the $300 Sidewinder with no brakes.

I like the Hard Rock better personally.
Cheap suspension sux. Cheap rigid bikes are typically a nicer ride, IMO.

I am actually an Angeleno. I just moved here about 3 weeks ago. Well, what bike shop? I'll prob come in for a tune up on what ever bike i purchase. Most likely a Specialized one.
