What does santacruz use (hey! it rhymes ) for their decals on powdercoated frames? From the pictures of other peoples bikes it looks like they use stickers. seems like they would peel off. HMMMMMM.........does anyone know why they do this instead of powdercoating the decals?Thanx

they just put the decals on w/ water. Vinyl Graphics.....a hairdryer will normally take them off if they're not under the clearcoat.

They just use stickers, so that you can peel them off.

If they're the same stickers that im thinking of they leave a nasty mark no matter how carefully you remove them from the frame, i did it on my old Shogun and regretted doing it!

Alcohol normally will remove any left over residue from the stickers...cologne works well to if you don't have any alcohol laying around

WD-40 is great for removing sticker residue.

Most manufacturer's will apply a clearcoat over their decals. Honestly, I don't know if S.C. does this or not.

I heard that s.c. is building a state of the art powdercoating facility and thought that they would use something different for the decals.Well, I guess i'll just buy my blur anodized.
