Bought a bike, it was stolen, bought another bike, stolen bike found...

I bought a Giant Boulder SE in January for my birthday and then it was stolen before my eyes (but i couldn't catch the guy in time, and it was locked, but with a crappy lock). Anyway, I sold my guitar and a bunch of other stuff and bought a Gary Fisher Advance a week later. Now, a month later, the Giant has been found by the police. I'm not sure what condition it is in but I assume it's gonna be in a decent condition, since obviously the guy was looking to make a profit by selling it.

Which bike should i keep? Both were for $300.

I think I like the Gary Fisher frame and brakes, but the rest of the Giant is better...

What do you all think? I'm just a beginner biker, this was my first bike.

swap parts and make the GF better w/ the parts you like from the SE. then sell the SE or keep it as a back up.

absolutely no harm in having two bikes. None at all...if you do decide to sell one of them, PM me.

Use one as a commuter and one as an off road or urban bike?

That's what I'd do. Never hurts to have a back up ride

Leave the Giant locked up in the same location and wait, that dumb****z will probably try to lift it twice. Put a Muzzy broadhead through his knee and he won't be needin' to steal a bike again for a long time.

Do that and chances are he'll be riding long before you will.
