You mean the xtc 2, yea I just got an 04 and am realy enjoyng it. The only thing I dont love is the fact that the front end is heavy or something, as it stays on the ground(this is a good thing for climbing) and is realy hard to pull pull up to get over things like roots and rocks. I am hopeing some riserbars will fix this in the near future.

we all know that most of these threads get repeated on a regular basis. I've gotten used to it.

I got a 2002 XTC 2, I've had it for 3 years, Its probably the best bike for the money, and one of the best handling Hardtail XC bikes out there. Plus the frame is light and strong. I'm around 200 lbs. and the XTC takes all the pounding I can dish out.

Do the XTC's that are sold in the US have shiney paintjobs? In The Netherlands, they all have that matte (powdercoat I believe) finish.
