Need help on an older Stumpjumper
My wife owns what appears to be a '99 Spec. Stumpjumper FSR XC that I bought new for her. It has been unused for several years.
I would like to make sure what year it is and to locate a service manual/owner's manual so I can service the fork and shock and other items on the bike. I need to know air, oil, etc., specs.
It is blue, with a red Manitou fork, the Fox Air Vanilla float shock, Avid brakes, etc. I have attached a photo.
Any ideas where I can find an owner's manual? Is it a '99? Thanks.

* A bike owners manual won't tell you how to service a fork or a shock.

* It might be hard finding a service kit for that old shock, maybe contact Fox.

You'd probably be better off buying a new fork instead of trying to service it, if you don't want to spend much money the following fork is a good price and would be better then what you have:

[QUOTE=cobba;16313066]* A bike owners manual won't tell you how to service a fork or a shock.
