Should I Grab it? I know it has a Triple Butted Steel Frame. The bike was left outside all Winter, the paint is very faded. Thinking about either making it a single speed MTB for Mom's rentals in Loreto Baja Mexico, or maybe a touring bike?

Heck yeah! I'd sand-blast it, then powdercoat it in a cool matte color, or try one of the new Kevlar paint coatings. Could be a cool project.

Word. Thinking the same thing. Well, the person realized its a very desirable frame and bumped the price to $50. All in all, it's worth it. Triple Butted American Made Steel!! Rides GREAT.

The front shock operates fine but has chipping on the white, I wouldn't trust it. My initial plan would be to put a rigid front fork on it. Either a fun MTB all rigid, maybe single speed style, or a commuter.

I might end up selling it since I've got a few too many projects
