I work in a bike shop(yes I know I should know the answer). I am buying a bike, and I have decided to go with the giant STP. The 3 is out of the question because I have to spend more than $500. I rode a 3 today, and fell inlove with it. I am getting it through the employee buyer program, so money is not really a problem. My question is, is the 1 really worth the extra money over the 2, or not? I am looking for peoples opinions who have or have ridden them. Thanks in advance. I just wish you could get them in different colors because I like the stealth black of the stp3.

I think the 3 is junk, even if it looks good. The 1 has a disk brake and etc... better.

Get the STP1. Better components and stuff than the STP2 but still a very, very reasonable price.
