Fox Vanilla 130R Help

Hey Guys. I have a 2005 Fox Vanilla 130R. When i am standing up on the bike and bounce, when the fork compresses, i can hear a 'clunking' noise in one of the legs of the fork. This fork is brand new and hasnt really been ridden yet. Is this a major problem? Is it normal? Let me know.
Thanks

I have one and no clunking noise.Could be a gremlin.

How loud is it? It could just be the spring moving around inside.

that could be due to complete bottoming out, in which case, get a heavier weight spring.

I know alllllll about bottoming out...and mine made a loud noise when bottoming out

Its definitely not bottoming out. It kinda sounds like the spring is hitting the side of the leg like Ironduke said. Is this a big problem?

It shouldn't do that, it's current model year goods, take it in or write Fox.

Definately get it to a fox mech.

hey, i was wondering if its possible to mount a shock upside down, does it make a difference?

Mounting shocks upside down in order to get it to fit is fine.
