Where to get a replacement 29er frame
While I do not wanna replace it I have no choice really. rides like a dream and is very fun to ride
I do love this 29er. but theres a few dents wich i dont care much about but the main issue is the spacing around the rear wheel. If my wheel aint bent/out of tru its not a issue but when i go in mud it clogs the bike up good Its a older 29er. the wheel rubs the odd time when flexed aswell. Anywho i figure why not seek out another frame and see whats out there. Idealy I dont want carbon or anything like that. Id prefer Cromoalloy. Maybe alluminum. Chromo first before that though. I looked at a few threads but most the link/stores are dead now. I dont wanna spent a huge ammount of money on one. just like a couple hundred proberly Heres a picture of it though. seat/pole where upgraded. not shown aswell as the front derailure lol http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps7ac5794b.jpg |
Try a Marin Muirwoods 29er. At under $500 with a double butted cromoly frame, its one of the best deals out there.

Take a close look at the Marin Muirwoods and this bike I own. the frame/fork looks the same right? thats what this is lol mines just been upgraded. I love it alot but im having clearence issues in the back. I could always get a spare rear wheel and put a thinner tire on that one for when trail riding though. the issue us that tire clearence and front derailure touched the tire sometimes. maybe on the newer models thats fixed. This one was $5 from a scrapper, It had alot of issues but for $5 its worth it. I replaced alot of parts.

Hmm that Transam is nice!!
I got my Specializing Zworks of DH Gate dirt cheap and it's performing faultlessly. If it breaks just ditch it for another one. |

Ebay sounds like an option.
