Maxxis Holy Roller or Hookworm

What tire is better for Freeriding? I ride about 2/3 street and 1/3 dirt jumps/grass, which would you recommend and why?

Dirtbike 04-02-05 05:37 PM

Hookworms. The are pretty much made for DJ/Urban Street. Longer life too.

Really? I was expecting to get about a hundred people saying Holy Rollers. I'd prefer the hooworms assuming the hook up well in dirt/grass.

PWRDbyTRD 04-02-05 05:48 PM

i think konarider already killed his holy roller

Maelstrom 04-02-05 05:50 PM

Hookworms = completely bald = no hookup in grass...

PWRDbyTRD 04-02-05 05:51 PM

haha...I had my slicks on lst night when the rain came through...I had to go through some grass, you wanna talk about no hook up...I figured with my weight a tire would stay put on just about anything...nope..*spin spin spin, clip out and walk*

Maelstrom 04-02-05 05:52 PM

Heck my mobsters somtimes don't hook up in grass,...especially dewy...
