29" for 26" MTB. Do I need to change forks in order to fit disc 29" wheels ?

29" for 26" MTB. Do I need to change forks in order to fit disc 29" wheels ?
I've tried to fit normal 29" (700x35) into my RockRider 6.3, it seems that they should fit but spokes will hit cover of the disc break mechanism.
Now I'm thinking if I will buy 29" wheels (700x35) with disc, is different width of spokes, will they fit ?
If not, I assume that forks for 29" will fit into my bike ? (so I would buy 29" suspensions forks, 29" wheel and just retrofit the rest of hardware (disc breaks))
My main concern is top speed.

Good to see your up to a challenge but your trying to make something work that was never "engineered" to work that way. Can you fit a circle into a square, sure you can with a big enough hammer. Being that I recently went from a 26 to a 29 and built both of them from the ground up there are several things that make a 29er different. Handlebar width, Rotor size, stem angle/length, Fork, possible hubs for a thru axle if the fork is a 15/20mm axle. Best bet is to get a 29er frame and go from there but either way good luck let us know how you make out.

The circumference of a 26''x 2.4" (bsd 559) tire would be about 2160mm
the circumference of a large cross tire 700x35 (bsd 622) would be about 2185mm. more like a 27er. Not a huge difference. The larger you go, the more of a difference and the more of what RICO said above would apply. I wouldn't buy a 29er fork for your bike.
Also, make sure it clears the downtube.
The circumference of a 26''x 2.4" (bsd 559) tire would be about 2160mm
the circumference of a large cross tire 700x35 (bsd 622) would be about 2185mm. more like a 27er. Not a huge difference. The larger you go, the more of a difference and the more of what RICO said above would apply. I wouldn't buy a 29er fork for your bike.
