Mystery Cannondale - BEFORE Buying - Need help with model and year Please

Might check this out for a tall friend (might be a 22")
Any ideas the model? seller acquired this as part of a storage auction.

Haven't bought this yet, and trying to find out what it is just in case there is info about potential issues with components.
The bike is not for me, but a coworker and I do not want him to start out with issues to deal with.

That is why I am seeking help.

Might be a 1995 or 1996 Killer V 500 with a non stock fork.

Thanks I was having a helluva time finding that fork on any I googled...
But what makes you think it's a 500 please?
