on shimano's site xt is right below xtr and above hone on the menu if that tells you anything. I was asking my boss about hone or saint stuff and he just said that they were shimano's designer stuff he though, suppose to look cool.

I thought they were some stupid proprietary crap for freeriding, that needs all-shimano parts on the bike.
Also, I think the xt derrailuers cost less at jenson when I was looking there a while back.
