Ankle Biter - Mountain View Trail side mount.

Trying out some mounting options for the VIRB, and wanted something that showed the trail, and gave a better sense of speed to the ride. It stuck out a bit further than I wanted, and in doing so the VIRB got some punishment in the Sage flats. Not a big deal, the camera took it in spades, but I don't think it will take a direct hit from something solid. Overall, I am pleased with how it looks, and you can never have too many angles to film with! Just over five minutes of fun.

Definitely a good angle, and an exciting view point, but WAY too much hub and chain noise. I can't think of a way to avoid it though.

Only two ways to get rid of that much noise, one being ditching the sound altogether for music, or have it turned down in editing. I usually do the music thing, but really only wanted to get another camera angle experimented with.

My goal for the next riding season will be as many view points as possible for each of the trails around here, something like I did with the Alien Run, I just have volume issues to deal with:
