Viva Las Vegas

Theres more to Vegas than casinos, strip clubs and buffets...

Highest peak of the trail is at 5000 feet!

Oh my god, I wish I got mountains like that in Holland. Damned flat country, grrr.

I generally hate Vegas but, next time I'm out there (for some unGodly reason I wind up there at least 2-3 times per year) I'm going to have to lug the bike along. Nice pics.

P.S. I really feel for you guys that have nothing but rollers and flats; I rode through the canyon by my new pad on Saturday (I just moved in January so I haven't had the cance to explore all of the trails) and wound up doing about 10 miles of gradual up-hill riding. About the only excitement I had during the entire ride was when I was forced to get off my bike to cross the shin to knee high stream about 5 different times. Long climbs and technical descents are a thing of beauty; flats are great if you want to take pictures.

Damn....

U Da Man !!!!

Is that all there is to Las Vegas in the background?

I'd MUCH rather be where you are than down there in a stupid Money Pit....

Its an 03 HardRock, not comp nor sport. Its been upgraded here and there and more upgrades coming in about a month i.e. disc brakes, wheelsets, shifter and levers. I havent taken it off any drops higher than two feet only because there arent any on the trails I ride. Trials or trails? There is a big difference. The HR isnt exactly a trials bike but it makes a great trails bike.

A trials bike is more like this:
