Got Cannondale?
 

if anyone has a cannondale or happens to know how hard is it or how involved is is it to put a non cannondale fork on them, let me know- considering getting a prophet 4x frame and putting a fox 36 on the front or maybe a zoche 66. it kinda pisses me off that cannondale feels the need to make head tubes that are only made for their "forks" it's almost like burton snowboards how their bolt patterns only match their bindings ecxept with burton you absolutly can't put anything besides burton bindings on them.

by the way what exactly is 4x, is it like a sort of a downhill slolam type deal?

Yes it is dual slalom with 4 bikes and not quite as cool (I love ds)

I think crane creek makes a reduced headset to fit normal forks. I even think there are others but I don't know them all sorry. But I am 100% sure there is a way for you to put a superior normal sized fork on your canondale :)

Cane Creek, E.13, and I think FSA all make reducer cups for oversized C-dale headtubes. If I remember though, they don't come that cheap because they are a relitivily low demand piece, so I would factor that into your cost + the fork versus the lefty.

well the prophets usually have a lefty fork on them so i would think that is the reason a lot of other forks dont fit on it.

That fsa reduced may not work, is canondale a pure 1.5"..I thought it was off a bit.
