Well my camera is messed right now but i use all my dirtbike gear so i use my troy lee designs shin guards. i also use all the rest of my gear when i seriously go riding like in the mountains

I don't have pics but I use the lizard skins shin gaurds. They actually work pretty good. Got a nice deal on them off of e-bay. $30 for a NIB pair.

roach pads. ive only had them 2 months and theyve already saved me quite a few times. i have two huge gashes in them form i think its my pedals in a wreck. woulda been quite a few stiches that one. they fit really well too. after a while i dont even notice im wearing them. then onlt thing i dont like is the middle strap that goes over the calf i think it pointless since it risticts movement so i always just keep it loose. they cost me 115$CDN and well worth every penny

The roach pads are a knee, and shin pad correct? I'm just looking for a shin pad, just basiclly a gash gaurd, hell I'll probably end up using my black addidas soccer pads if I can't fina anything I like.

Used to use Dainese knee/shin guards but they stuffed up so now using Fox 911 knee/shins. They work well and seems anthonaut did it first here are some pics of them in use at my last race and expression session.
I also use Dainese body armour though.

Dont really need to post a pic, I use the same armor as Anthonaut and Hopper... Dianese armor is my favourite out of the few that ive tried, pricey, but light, breathable and very comfy.

Umm Anthonuat and I use different armour. Anthonaut has Dainese Knee/shin I have Fox911 knee/shin. I said I use Dainese Body armour, its the MX one

you can get knee specific but i dont think you can get just shin. im not sure though. i would suggest getting the knee shin. well worth it even if you just bash a knee on the bar or crowns(like i have) if your worried about mobility i barely even notice the roaches and the dainese are aparently even lighter and more comfortable

I wear an old pair of my soccer pads, really comfortable and come with skins to help secure them better, plus i can wear soccer socks over them .

Jebus cripes it must suck to have to wear all that armour to save yourself from injury. Better to be uncomfortable than to be sidelined forever though eh boys?

I don't wear shin pads or elbow pads. I only use knee pads when I even wear pads.

I love dainese but none of their stuff fits my chest or shoulders. I run 661 one everything.
How do you find those work gastro?...my cousin was looking at a set but I wasn't sure if they would do anything more than tall socks.

Downsides: hot as hell in summer, the knee protection on the combos (which I have) is nearly nonexistent. Probably not the best choice for bombing rock gardens.
