Finished the winter project bike!

On the assumption the one can never have too many bikes (an assumption that is deeply ingrained in 50% of the inhabitants of our household), I decided to build up a hardtail to accompany my Scott Spark 29er. I thought it would be nice having a HT to use on the river bottom trails and to lend to friends whom I hope to seduce into the clutches of mtb riding. And I reasoned that building my own would be fairly cost effective (hah, hah, hah, hah). In the end, I ended up with this:

Mostly, it's new stuff, and it looks nice - should be fun sorting it out. Norco Charger frame, Reba fork, Shimano SLX Groupset, and Velocity wheels (tubeless). Weighs in at 25lbs even.

C'mon Spring!

Nice bike! I've built 3 bikes and none of them has come in under budget.
