MTB tracks in Melbourne

As you all know, I am new to mountain biking and I need to know where I can ride in Melbourne.

Long time no see. Listerfield park has good tracks, they've got the comm. games there. Dandenongs have got some good off roads, but around the city there are nill. You can buy books at the LBS that tell you about MTB tracks. I got an off-road near me, Ss-ben and I go there but its not worth travelling to. But definatley National Parks and that have fire trails ect. that you can go on, anywhere in the mountains really. Try and get hold on a MTB trails in VIC book, i've had a look through em, they have all da info.

Yeah one of those Offroad books cost $40. I bet ya it'll be handy.
