Trek Fuel EX vs Specialized S-works Epic 29 ?
Dear friends. I wanna buy a mtb first time. but i didnt decide between trek and specialized. could you advice me the one ow them both has high performance and economical? thanks in advance..

For a starter bike anything that says S-Works is not economical that designation is the top of the line models only for Specialized. I test rode a Fuel EX8 It had decent entry level components and rode very well. It is fairly heavy but for economical that is just the way it is. I ended up purchasing the carbon version and I love it. I have not ridden the Specialized but the Camber Comp 29 is the equivalent model to the Fuel EX 8 29. The Specialized Epic Comp 29 is similar but a little less travel on the suspension. The Trek equivalent to the Epic Comp is the Superfly FS 8. All these are great entry level bikes.

Most first timers start on Hard Tails, not such a heavy Investment to eat if you don't like the sport and ,,,
Hard Tails teach you things
Used is a good option and then move up (If you get addicted) to higher tech bikes...
My first two years on a Hard Tail made me a better rider faster and that helped me get so much more out of my
more expensive Full suspension.
Crashing on the hard tail didn't freak me out so much, less to adjust and tun also...
