3 weekends, 3 centuries. I wonder how long I can keep this up???

Rode with Club Hypoxia today, We did a tour of Parker... climbed pretty much EVERY freakin' hill in Parker, too! Add in NASTY headwinds (They said the AVERAGE wind speed for the ride was 18 mph ) and the fact that I hurt my knee this past week, and it was a WORLD of hurt. 70 miles, 4800+ feet of climbing (at least part of which I was doing one-legged)

Was a great ride, though, with some great people, and we stopped and had an ice-cold beer at the end of the ride at the ride leader's house.

In getting to and from the ride, I put in an additional 36 miles, so my totals for today:
106.2 miles, 15.74 mph avg, 46 mph max speed, 6 hrs, 45 mins ride time, 6484.74 feet of climbing.

28 mi. here Brother. Only problem I had was that EVERYONE stood me up in my group. Had to go by myself.

Too busy with yard work to do much riding. That and hunting for a bed. Egads they are expensive. Time to get my 3 year old out of his toddler bed.

I did construct a nice little route in my area with plenty of hills using riverdale and 160th. Now I need to add a few miles. It is always nice to have a route close to home for when you have prior commitments.

Next weekend I start hunting for a new bike!

Just noticed bill's post.

I will counter your centuries with an even more difficult mileage..... 3 miles in 2 hrs!
Of course, I was riding behind my son. It is very difficult to ride a regular bike at 2 mph. I think I should have walked. Still he can take off at a pretty good clip every so often.
3 miles is still pretty good for a kid who has been riding for a month.

Well good news is that its not broken, bad news is I tore legiments in my hand.(not sure how that happens). Splint for one week and then I am good to go.
